Early edition lacks important section

This digital edition of Locke's treatise is easy to read, essentially free from errors. However, it is based on the second edition of the work, and lacks a portion later added by Locke, of great interest for his views on religion and political zeal: the section on Enthusiasm. I note that Locke has an understanding of the science of signs, which he calls semiotics, and in many ways anticipates the linguistic theory whose discovery is often attributed to Saussure (book 3)

Excellent book if you are interested in the influence John Locke had with our countrys beginning and our constitution. Too bad he is a larger segment of our history lessons. We can all learn and understand if we choose to.
