Unfortunately DNF at 37%

This book was a let down. I have only ever not finished at book once before this one. Even when books are terrible my innate curiosity makes me finish the books to see how it pans out in the end. Even if it require skipping pages or skimming through chapters to just get the gist of it, although even that is a rarity. Not because there are few bad books, but I enjoy them that much that I can usually find at least one or two redeeming factors.
This was not one for me. Thank goodness I got it through KU and didn't pay for it. I'd be disappointed more otherwise. The heroine was constantly misjudging the Hero and every little thing was analyzed as he was going to control her, take over her life, and just make her miserable. Not once did she talk to him. I felt terrible for both of them at the beginning. I found it funny that she gave him a fake number too. However she just was a hateful heroine, and even with knowing where her pain was coming from I couldn't get behind her.
The Hero was not much better. I sympathized with him at first, but not once did he try to explain himself to her. When she jumped to absurd conclusions about his barely there kiss he didn't defend himself in any manner and then the next turns around and does exactly what she was originally afraid of. At this point I closed the book. I was with him for the most part, and I was on her side for some of it, but instead of taking a humorous incident and laughing about it or something they use that interaction and every one that follows to hate and manipulate each other more.
I can't see it working out or working well and I can't finish it. It's a nice plot that I usually like, but done poorly in my opinion. There were also some spelling errors and grammatical errors: been instead of be, random words and letters in the middle of sentences that make you go back and read to make sure you didn't miss anything, and missing words. I wish this book had turned out better.

Fun sweet read that is completely entertaining. Loved Tanner and Hannah but Jeremy and Fitz stole the story! Recommended read.
