Short but okay.

There were some good pieces of information in this book and although I agree that it's important to be a responsible breeder, I feel that
some of the advice given was extreme. I felt like the overall tone of this book seemed to insist that there isn't much of a benefit to breeding and you have to have thousands of dollars set aside to do it and you'll be lucky to "break even." I've never had this problem as a breeder nearly 8 years. Four stars because it's good information for new breeders and it's good to know and be prepared for issues..

About the Author
George Washington was born in Virginia in 1732. As a young man, he learned the morals, manners, and knowledge necessary to become a Virginia gentleman. He was particularly interested in the military arts and western expansion. At the age of 16, he helped survey Shenandoah lands. At the age of 22, he was commissioned a lieutenant colonel and fought in the first battles of what became the French and Indian War. Unanimously elected as the first President of the United States, Washington served two terms before retiring to Mount Vernon. He passed away on December 14, 1799.

Sloppy Book...

I am currently taking a two week elective that is designed around this book in order to help me learn ECG's. There are several positives about the book. First, there are numerous examples (hundreds) of ECG's with explanations that help one learn. Second, the nice 10-day format is designed well with not too much info on a particular day. However, there are so many blatant mistakes in the book that I don't see how anyone could use this book as their only reference material for ECG's. There are so many mistakes that it is embarrassing. The mistakes consist of misprints and lack of completeness in the answer key. Therefore I am doing ok using the book because I attend a two-hour class every day with a Cardiologist that explains the blunders. If you do not have this luxury I advise either going with another book or buying a second book to help with your understanding. Best of luck...

Examples galore. Great practice book

Although not as well-organized as Dubin. This is a great book with TONS of practice ECGs. I used this in the few weeks before starting internship and it put me in great shape for starting reading ECGs immediately.

It would take quite a student to do all these in 10 days. Having said that, it's a great way to master 12-leads. There's a ton of them, and many are tough.

Albert Barnes (1798-1870) received academic degrees from Hamilton College and Princeton Theological Seminary. He pastored the Presbyterian Church at Morristown, N.J. for five years before accepting the pastorate at the First Presbyterian Church in Philadephia.
